Who is the foil of Eumaeus? [Odyssey]

Who is the foil (opposite) of Eumaeus? Why?

Eumaeus, i found out, is a swineherd, whom Odysseus, disguised as a beggar, talks to in book 14. He did not recognize Odysseus. However, he gives him food and shelter, even though he was wearing rags and looked really old. Thus we can conclude that Eumaeus is a kind and caring man, to everyone, and therefore to Odysseus as well. In fact, book 14 itself is even titled "The LOYAL Swineherd". believe Melanthius is the opposite, since he wants to do harm to him, and Melanthius is crude and appeasing towards the suitors.

Provide at least 3 reasons why, with textual evidence, preferably from books 13-15.
