Job Prospects, BS in Biology, Lower ranked State New York Uni?

[TLDR] What are my job prospects as a Bachelors of science of Biology attending a lower tier New York State school? (GPA: about 3.0) (Undergrad research = trying to get some)( internships? = a "mock" one at my school more geared towards learning equipment.) [/TLDR]

I am a biology major at a lower tier state school in New York State. I flunked out of computer science because i was too incompetent, and decided that another science would be to my liking, so I chose biology, I am also on financial aid and am running out of available funds, so switching majors any more might not be possible, nor is grad school.

Due to me failing in comp sci alot, my GPA is not too good. It stands at a 2.7 right now, and with one more year left of school, I doubt I could get it high enough to be stellar, even though my course work in biology is above average, if average is considered a 3.0 GPA. I am doing an internship, but it is with the school, and it is more of a learning experience(ie: how to do PCR well, how to use an autoclave, basic lab equipment repair, etc..) than an actual needed job in the campus. I am trying to do undergraduate research in genetics and genomics, but I feel the quality of my work wouldn't be "up to snuff" due to the status of my college and general limitations that come with it.

What are my job prospects as a biology undergrad major given those conditions?

Doing some "googling" I found alot of anecdotal evidence stating that it was very poor. Talking to my professors in biology and chemistry, I was told that getting into biology grad school and being paid for it would be "unlikely" given my circumstances.

All in all, I would just like a job in my field of study, biology(genomics /genetics preferred) that allows me to make a livable wage. A livable wage meaning something that I could live independently on, with little luxuries(the occasional video-game), and be able to pay off my loans. Sorry for the ramble, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
