How long does it take to get a reply to your PhD application email in Germany?

I am applying for PhD positions in Germany. Normally I need to send an email to the professors with a list of references, grades transcript, CV, master's thesis, etc. I want to know how long after sending my email should I assume that I am not getting the position?
