Structure of a Ph.D. sandwich thesis

I would like to know the main structure of this kind of thesis.

Although some guidelines can be taken from this post, enter link description here, additional details would be appreciated.

When building the introduction, I feel quite collapsed trying to join and describe all the aspects of the 3 published articles I have. This will be also the same for the final discussion.
