It is common that PhD students have teaching duties as TA. In this case, the responsible person for the course is a faculty member. Can a course totally given to a PhD students. I am not talking about the capability, but after all a PhD student is a student of the university.
I know that this decision depends on the department or university, but my question is if it is globally possible? Is it common?
Is there any official limitation for totally giving the responsibility of a course to a PhD student in the universities of the USA and Europe?
