I am suppose to write my MSc dissertation and i have been asked to do an investigation of computer science related topics. It has been said that developing and artifact or writing up literature reviews are not part of the project however the make up the project but we have to evaluate some sort of research ideas.
Could someone explain me what are the practical approaches on carrying out successful investigative methods in computer science.
