I am attending a cooking course on weekends. Since I could not find the timetable for the classes in April, I emailed to one of the teacher assistants, XXX. I wrote Dear Title surname in the salutation. Here are the extracts from the emails:
Dear Ms XXX,
I could not find the timetable for the classes in April. Please help.
Sincerely yours,
Kitty
In her reply to my first email, she said:
Please pay attention to my contact information! I have attached the...
After checking her reply email, I said:
Dear Ms XXX,
It is well-received. Thank you!
A few hours later, she emailed to me and said something exactly like this
...if you are careful enough you should be able to find that it is Miss not Ms. I believe that you do it on purpose just to show your disrespect...
She is a TA, and she looks like in her late thirties. But the contact information on the school's web does not tell whether she is married or unmarried, so I wrote "Ms surname" instead of "Miss surname". I have sent a few emails to her to apologize for my mistake but I do not receive any replies from her. I will attend the cooking class this Saturday and surely will meet her in the class.
What shall I do now?
