long abstract - pictures, tables and references

I am writing a long abstract for a conference call and I am not really sure how to tackle the writing.

I am thinking to structure it as follow: - motivation - contribution - main results - conclusions

Would that be alright? Additionally, would you add tables, pictures and references on a long abstract? Any suggestions are really appreciated.
