Learning Makeup Online [on hold]

My wife wants to get into beauty and makeup studies.

We're doubting between a local non-degree courses, acknowledged local courses or online courses.

The question is, from a person who learns computer science online, is it possible to learn beauty and makeup online? It's obviously different than learning computer-science, but since it's much cheaper and students get international degrees, maybe it's better.

So the question is to anyone who ever studied beauty care and makeup online, or anyone who knows what it is like to learn this discipline online.

P.S. finding volunteer women to experiment learning with won't be an issue.
