I have done B.E. ECE with Math from Anna University. Am I eligible to apply for M.Stat. at ISI? [on hold]

According to page 13 of the Prospectus for 2014 (http://ift.tt/1BJPmSK), only students who have done B.E with Stats are eligible. But I have done B.E with Math with a CGPA of 9.2 (92%). I also scored 97.55% in 12th with a cut-off of 199.5/200. I would like to know if I am eligible to apply for M.Stat. How strict is ISI in screening candidates based on eligibility criteria?
