Grade 1 Students on Password

i don't know where to ask this question so here it is.

What should be the criteria for passwords to Elementary, specifically Grade 1 students?

I read some articles like Handle Passowrd for Elementary student but I wonder if it is a good idea to give students that young the responsibility of a password.
