Finding ideas for a research question in Psychology paper

I have a large high school project to do. I'm supposed to do it about anything I want, but the guidance line is to have a question such as "What the connection between X and Y?", as I'm supposed to fill X and Y.

Do you have any suggestions? I was really interested in Cognitive Psychology, but every interesting idea would be accepted.

Subjects I thought of but not so sure if they're too good. Remember that these are only the general ideas I've thought of, up to now:

  • Exploring the effect of very quick frames showing rapidly within an average looking video, each one contains a shape in a different color. The concept is to explore the different impact of these frames as subliminal message on both genders. For example, you'd expect women (when requested to mention 3 random shapes that pop in mind) to mention the shape drawn in pink, significantly more than men.

  • Exploring the effect of the amount of syllables in one's name on that person. Maybe (most likely), there are some certain characteristics that often show up in people with a specific amount of syllables in their name. By the way, it could be anything other than syllables, it could be certain letters, maybe just the length of the name.

  • Exploring the effect of a survey's color to the average answers it'd get. It's probable to assume that when the page is blue, or when the page is red, the answers would be different (on a general survey containing questions of many subjects). Well, these were some of my ideas, I'm also really interested in exploring differences between genders. But again, any interesting idea would be accepted.

Do you think one of the ideas is good ? Do you have any additions, corrections or new suggestions ?
