PHD in mathematical physics (algebraic geometry and statistical mechanics)

I know there are people working on this interface algebraic geometry and statistical mechanics in USA: Okounkov, Varchenko, Tarasov, Mukhin,...

But in relation to Europe I know very little, what are the researchers working in this line or research groups in Europe?
