Online math communities?

I suffered from severe depression during my first two years of undergrad. I love math and felt like I was fairly talented at it, but ultimately had to drop out to deal with my health. After five (FIVE!) years out of school with only minimal math-related reading/writing/etc., I'm trying to catch myself up so I can finish my bachelor's degree.

I'm at the point where I will be starting college again soon (assuming I get accepted), but my history is much stronger than my actual ability right now. I don't want to look completely incompetent, and I'd prefer not to have to take more than two years to finish up. I'm fairly self motivated and I'm working through my old textbooks to relearn stuff, but I'm lacking the general support of peers to bounce ideas off of or ask questions when I'm unsure about something. Are there any proper forums which will be friendly and helpful to me as I struggle through remembering how to write proofs or come across problems which may seem basic but I don't remember how to approach?

As a follow up, does anyone have suggestions on how to make this process smoother?

(This seems like the most appropriate area to post this question in, but it's my first post, so if I've put it in the wrong place, please let me know.)

Thanks!

*as Kimball pointed out, there's the math section of this site. I'm aware of it, but I'm not sure that it will provide the more conversational atmosphere I was hoping to find.
